Virginia Rivers Youthful Voices Scholarship
The Virginia Rivers Youthful Voices Scholarship is a key component of the FSA Youthful Voices program.
Each year, six young tellers and their chaperones attend StoryCamp on a full scholarship. Their weekend of learning, listening and networking culminates in the Youthful Voices Concert — a highlight of the StoryCamp weekend.
StoryCamp Memorial Scholarship
The StoryCamp Memorial Scholarship has been named in honor of all those now-departed who believed in the power of story and dedicated themselves to keeping storytelling alive in Florida. This award has provided dozens of local StoryGroup members with the opportunity to participate in StoryCamp and find their place in our storytelling community.
Each year, Florida StoryGroups may request one scholarship for a member who will be attending StoryCamp for the first time. The scholarship will only cover the cost of tuition. Lodging and meals are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient. The registration for the scholarship recipient must be received by the January 10th Early Bird Deadline.
