Apply by mail:

1. To apply by mail, first download the membership application form:

2. Complete the form and return it with your check to

Apply online:

To apply online, complete our online membership form. Once you’ve completed the form you’ll be directed to our online payment center to pay for your membership.

Once your payment is processed, you’ll receive notification that your membership has been approved, and you’ll be directed to login to the FSA site, where you’ll be able to access your membership profile and access member-only content..

Promote yourself in our Directory of Storytellers

If you are a storyteller and wish to promote yourself in our FSA Directory of Storytellers, be sure to check the box that says "Display my listing in the Storyteller Directory," and check the box next to each item you want to appear in the online directory (Performance Name, Address, Email, etc.)

As a benefit of FSA membership, FSA storytellers may promote their services on our online Directory of Storytellers, with either a “Basic” or “Enhanced” listing. A Basic listing is free and included in your membership, and lists the following:

• Name
• Address
• Phone
• Email
• Keywords
• Regions

.As a special promotion to celebrate our new web site, all members are being given a free trial enhanced listing through December 2009. In additon to the items in the basic listing, the enhanced listing includes:

• Additional Phone and Email entries
• A link to your website
• A photo
• A description of your work or brief bio
• An embedded YouTube video
• And coming soon, we’ll be adding the ability to embed an MP3 audio file!

In December 2009 , you’ll be given the option of keeping your enhanced listing for an additional fee, or reverting to a basic listing.

You MUST be a current member of FSA to be included in the Directory of Storytellers. If you are a current member but prefer not to be listed now, however, you can always add yourself to the directory at any point during your current membership cycle.
